Today has been a very exciting day for my hubby, Erick, and I! We left the house bright and EARLY so he could scratch off one of his bucket list items, which happened to be in Austin, TX. (More on the bucket list item coming soon! 🙂 )
After we were done with his adventure, it was still so early that we had time to take advantage of a fantastic photo op spot I’ve been wanting to shoot at – the “You’re My Butter Half” mural! This street art located on the side of the United Way for Greater Austin Building of MLK and Alamo Austin, Texas 78702, has become such a popular photo spot that engagement photos and even actual engagements themselves have happened here! With bright and cheerful colors and a witty pun, how could this not make you smile?!
Since it was so early when Erick and I got there, the lighting wasn’t all to great, but we were blessed with a few moments of shade. I had to bring a tripod to get these shots because I didn’t figure anyone would be up walking around that early on a Saturday morning. Just us. HA!
If you ever visit Austin, I definitely recommend checking out this spot!
Whether you are looking to amp up your instagram game, want a fun pic of you with the gals, or want to show your love with the one you love, this is perfect!
Have fun and go get snappin’!
